Welsh Rarebit
Ingredients
- 2 T Worcestershire sauce
- 2 T butter
- 1 T flour
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp dry mustard
- 1/4 tsp salt
- dash of cayenne
- 1 can evaporated milk
- grated Cracker Barrel sharp cheddar cheese
Instructions
- Mix Worcestershire sauce, butter, flour, paprika, dry mustard, salt, cayenne pepper.
- Cook over high heat.
- Turn down to medium heat and add 1 can evaporated milk slowly.
- Stir constantly.
- Add grated Cracker Barrel sharp cheddar cheese slowly to melt and blend.
- Serve over toasted English muffins.
- Serves 4.
