Sopaipillas

Ingredients

  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 tsp shortening
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 T vinegar
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 cup buttermilk
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 cup milk

Instructions

  • Mix like biscuit dough and roll out about 1/8″ thick.
  • Cut in 3″ triangles or squares, drop in deep fat.
  • Turn with spatula until brown.
