Becky's Brownie Drops

Servings 36 cookies

Ingredients

  • 2 4 oz pkg sweet baking chocolate
  • 1 T butter
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon
  • 3/4 cup chopped pecans
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 1/8 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla

Instructions

  • Melt chocolate and butter in double boiler over hot water, while stirring.
  • Cool.
  • Beat eggs until foamy, then add sugar, 2 T at a time.
  • Beat until thickened, about 5 mins on electric mixer.
  • Blend in chocolate mixture.
  • Add flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt. Blend.
  • Stir in vanilla and nuts.
  • Bake at 350 degrees until cookies feel “set” when very lightly touched, about 8-10 mins.
  • Makes about 36 cookies.
