Welsh Rarebit

Ingredients

  • 2 T Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 T butter
  • 1 T flour
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp dry mustard
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • dash of cayenne
  • 1 can evaporated milk
  • grated Cracker Barrel sharp cheddar cheese

Instructions

  • Mix Worcestershire sauce, butter, flour, paprika, dry mustard, salt, cayenne pepper.
  • Cook over high heat.
  • Turn down to medium heat and add 1 can evaporated milk slowly.
  • Stir constantly.
  • Add grated Cracker Barrel sharp cheddar cheese slowly to melt and blend.
  • Serve over toasted English muffins.
  • Serves 4.
