Boston Brown Candy
Ingredients
- 3 cups sugar
- 1 cup whipping cream
- 1 cup milk
- 1 tsp vanilla
Instructions
- Over medium heat, carmelize 1 cup sugar and add whipping cream and milk.
- Stir until sugar is dissolved. Then add 2 cups sugar.
- Cook to soft ball stage.
- Cool until warm and add 1 tsp vanilla.
- Beat until consistency is such that they can be dropped on wax paper.
- Garnish with walnuts.

Makes 3 pounds.
